Hello,
I like to introduce myself. My name is Rick Trawick and I have finally
found and purchased a 74 GMC Sequoia. This weekend I will be driving it
from Florida to Maryland to get it home. I worked at Executive Pontiac-GMC
near Randallstown, MD during the '77 model year and fell in love with the
GMC design at that time, I knew I would eventually end up with one. When
Patrick first started GMCnet I subscribed but dropped out after about six
months when I knew that a GMC was off in the far future. I can see it has
really grown! The information on the net from all of your great pages has
been invaluble in researching this purchase. Thank you all for your help.
I'll fill you in with the details of the coach and our trip home soon! I'm
sure I'll have plenty of questions when I get home with it, I hope I can
contribute some of my historical info too!

More later,
Rick

Welcome to the wonderful world of the GMC. We need all of the GMC's we can get
in Maryland. The local GMC Club is the Tidewater Crabs. They have their first
weekend out Apr 14-16 at Rehoboth Beach sharing with the Colonial Travelers
(Yankees). If you are available, get back with me and I'll send you info. If
you need any local help, feel free to call me. I can help you save a lot of
money.

When I use my spell checker for "histerical," I get "historical" and
"hysterical" - probably both apply to these GMCs!

< there are lots of us with histerical stories about our GMCs...>

I am getting back to you

can you save me a lot of money also ??
I am always open for some money.

This is a great thing to do, I have never felt so alone when I had
problems in an area that I did not know, or could not find people who knew
the GMC.

nice offer.

GMC MOTORHOME INFORMATION
mr.erf

Welcome Richard T,
I have no idea what I would be doing now with my GMC without the GMCnet! For the
first 10 months or so of ownership I was "on my own" so to speak regarding the
GMC. I did have a neighbor that has owned a GMC for 25 years, but as it turned
out most of what he knew was "myth". I'm also close to Sandusky, so that helped.
I have all the manuals, Cinnabar newsletters and Motorhome Marketplace issues.
But nothing has helped me as much as the GMCnet and the individual websites,
PhotoPoint pictures etc. that I've found as a result. This place in cyberspace can
and will save you money and probably more importantly, aggravation!
