Heinz, what's the diagonal size of the N50? Also, does it have a brightness
control? One of the nits I have with the Toshiba Libretto is that there's
no way to dim the display after dark.

Yep the picture looks like Mt Shasta. You captured a beautiful picture. Went
by there quite often on the way to Montague to work in the Bee's yes REAL
BEE's. Used to live in the Mt's east of Redding Ca.

It has quite a range of brightness and contrast, but not sure if it'll go
dark enough or if I have to add a night 'filter'. Been lucky this trip...
almost daylight only travel sofar
I was more concerned with getting enough brightness to see in daytime and
with sunglassed on. I splurged on a Sony CX1 a while back and it's like most
TFT's, no good outside. You did good on the Libretto. I bought the CX1 to
replace my CE handheld. Just not enough compatibility and/or software
availability in the CE world. I think it's going to join Betamax.
Hopefully the Sony will last a little longer than the Apple did.
Oh yeah.... 15" diag screen and 17.75 diag overall.
I may actually get to appreciate the second video input for my barebones DOS
to tinker (oops, finetune) the EFI... not that I've done any lately

the sales bs didn't cut it

NICE! I really like the combination engine monitor/map display. Are both
maps "hooked up" to your GPS?
And does the AV 10 get its data straight from the fuel injection ECU?
