Progress report: So far, the Hayden 2747 has been working perfectly, coming on when expected, with none of this strange activation ‘after' cresting a hill (like the Duralast / AutoZone fan clutches all seem to do). Rather, it turns on while you’re climbing the hill… cools as it should. Quite happy with it so far. Autozone might be fine for other parts, but after changing fan clutches 4 times in the past 3 months (between the 2 coaches), i will never go back to Duralast again! And the Hayden at Oreilley's was actually a few bucks cheaper (and also has lifetime warranty)
Hopefully this saves somebody else the hassle when deliberating which brand to go with. When you see the Hayden 2747 (or other trusted brand) on the GMCI Parts Interchange list, don’t make the mistake of having AutoZone cross reference to their 22045! Your mileage may vary, but in this case i doubt it
cheers!

> Hey, i’m happy to report that i found the cause of the vibration. It was the fan clutch, and my suspicion is that the Autozone Duralast 22045 (replacement for 2747) apparently didn’t come with the right sized spool!
