Last night I checked my Alcoas. All 7 are in the recall. Today I received
the Alcoa recall notice in the mail.
If I'd had the time to pull the wheels earlier the advance notice from
GMCnet could have saved me some hassle. Now I'm at the back of the list for
replacements - but the recall is exactly as stated on this list over a
month ago. The dealer thinks that replacement wheels will take about 1
week. I hope so but I'm not counting on it.
