Never paid much atttention to the main frame rails. Wow it's light.

Well, the GMC is upside down in the drive. Started by pulling off the right frame rail this afternoon. Lots of 1/2" grade 8 bolts. It's the rear suspension sub frame, and front suspension sub frame work that give stability to the under carriage. The real strength is in the body. And now see that the body pads really don't support the body. I can carry the entire side frame rail with one hand. Bob Dunahugh 78 Royale
