Sorry I haven't gotten back to you. I parked the "Sweat Lodge" for the
week and won't get a chance to work on her till this weekend. I'll try that
first and then change out the lines like everyone is mentioning. The old
line from the pump to the elbow looks to be plastic. I have true brand new
gas line for my H-D that will fit and will replace the whole nine yards
(just a phrase not the distance).
Still think it's gas or coil related since it seems to run fine when cold
and gets worse hot.
Also I just got a Mobil 1 filter. You would think for ten bucks it would
have a magnet in there but I guess not. 10 micron is pretty good filtration
though. FYI... I added two strong little ceramic magnets before I left for
Fargo. One on the outside of corner of the Trans pan and one on the outside
end of the oil filter. Got them at Westlake here in Omaha for 50 cents
each... and MAN are they powerful. Should be interesting to see what they
collect. Funny even the gas pump on the Onan had one in the bottom of the
pump! Cheap insurance.
