Called Holiday Inn Surfside referred to in the GMCI newsletter
(843-238-5601) and their rates quoted at $69/$99 depending on the
view. Got an area map from www.mapquest.com and Surfside Beach is
just S. of campground. Day's Inn had an Internet page and I think
they were about $85 (from feeble memory). There are numerous condos
on Internet but probably need to furnish linens. I will probably do
Holiday Inn.
