why not... what can it hurt. The GMC is a classic, was ahead of its time, and
is timeless in its design

Larry, this sounds like a great idea. Does anyone know how to contact the
show's producer?

Great idea! I'm not an organizer but did make an attempt at

Would you be interested in doing a segment about the Classic '73 - '78 GMC
Motorhome? Most of the owners of these machines are old gear heads that
are restoring and souping up these old coaches. There's rally's held all
over the country at any time of the year. Several clubs exist for the
enthusiasts. Please browse through some of the web sites to aquaint
yourself with these classic machines.

We use products from high performance parts manufacturers like, Edlebrock,
Howell, Holly, Cloyes, Mondello, Doug Thorley, Rance Baxter....ect. We buy
parts from Summit Racing, Jegs, NAPA, JC Whitney,..ect.
I think you'll find this facet of classic restoration very interesting.

Thanks

We'll see where it goes from here. Who knows?

Hello GMCers,

I have been on the My Classic Car show before when they featured the
National
Woodie Club meet at Moonlight Beach in the San Diego area. The club
worked with their production folks to get them to cover the meet. It
took over two years. They don't make a whole lot of new shows. That's
why you see the same ones over and over. For those of you that have
seen the woodie episode, mine is the one at the beginning and end of the
show. It has a big hole in the door in the old paneling. You see, it's
totally original just like my GMCs.
It is a great idea to encourage the show to do the GMC motorhome. We
need to publicize that it is a classic and not just another motorhome.
Most people, even in the collector car hobby, are not aware of the
collectablity of the GMC Motorhome.
I am into: Woodies, GMC Motorhomes, Mustangs and Ford Pick Up
trucks for the shear appreciation of original collectability attached to
these vehicles. I think "My Classic Car" has a website to work with
to contact them to cover a National Meet. I'm sure any search engine can
find it. Dennis Gage was alot of fun to meet and clown around with.

Hi All,
I contacted My Classic Car 1and1/2 years ago about 2 months before the
Marion 25th Anniversary GMCI Convention. I explained that 400 GMC Motorhomes
the youngest 20 years were going to be in one location. I gave them History
etc. they told me they schedule a year plus in advance. At that time they
did not seem very impressed ( I was). I really hope you have better luck.
