Has anyone added a filter or perhaps suggestions as to source for tank,

Heinz, I used a mini filter/dryer from Grainger. It works great! I
can't believe how much moisture accumulates in the sight glass after
just a few pump cyclings.
1/4" air line filter item number 2Z766, less than $20 IIRC.
