Hi folks...

Saw in Sam's Club today an item being marketed to keep out rodents and
roaches (?!). It works on some sonic principle (mmm...and just where are
the ears on a roach...?) such that with a low voltage it will emit a
sound which supposedly deters any critter from taking up residence.
I'll have to go back and get the exact name of this item, but meantime,
has anyone ever tried such a product in their coach...and does it work?
(It would be less odoriferous than mothballs....)

Thanks for the information...I guess we won't waste our $$ on that item!
I think we have found all the holes in our coach, but I was hoping for some
additional protection.

Re mouse entrances, you can see a picture of a mouse hole on Scott's site. Our
site also has a page on mice taking up residence, and they did indeed come in at
the hole to the black water tank....the trail was obvious.

Our coach is a 23' with a rear bath, so the tank sits right at the end of the
coach, just where it starts to round up. That's where the problem was as there is
a small area where a rodent could maneuver between the tank and the bottom of the
coach. With the floor hole cut larger than necessary for the drain pipe, it was an
easy mouse entrance. It's an area hard to get to unless you drop the tanks or take
up the toilet.

In your case, I would not like your problem! We may have roaches here the size of
a VW Bug, but I think I'd rather fight them than hantavirus carrying mice!

take care...
