Max loaded weight

Hello!

I'm in the process of figuring out how to load our GMC for a cross country
trip this summer. I may have 5 adults in the coach along with camping gear
etc. With this many people I'm running out of room for "stuff" but I'd like
to avoid towing if I can. Any ideas of max loading on the GMC? I have the
operator's manual but would like some feedback from folks who are
experienced with a heavily loaded GMC.

As a side question - if I overload the coach is there a derating curve or
formula for front wheel bearing life?

If your concern is number of people, I don't think you have a problem.

Several years ago, I traveled with seven people from NW IN to Houston
and back with no problem. The following year, five people and a single
axle U-Haul trailer made a trip from NW IN to Durango CO and back.
Trailer was dropped at a niece's in Grand Junction CO.
