Matt & Mary's situation.. Not threatening.....

Matt,
I'm glad to hear you are being taken care of and have an onboard supply if volatile hydrocarbons.
Looks like you had quite a ride there into the median

Not in SC, but we broke down for about 4 hours on North Bound I95 in Georgia back in April 2013 on our way to Savannah for a wedding. We were
fortunate that the engine quit right by a weigh station (mile marker 54 near Darien, GA which is about 20 miles north of Brunswick) where there was
very wide shoulder. We were safe there with us parked ~50' from the roadway. I got it running again by fiddling with the distributor (problem
persisted right through last year) when I found the wiring harness from the base of HEI distributor to cap was intermittent.

WOW. Just saw this post. Man are you lucky, that area was known for rough roads and the trees VERY close to the road. Hit a fallen tree and killed a
trailer tire about 2 years ago, right there. So lucky you had that fresh soft dirt, you would have never stopped before hitting the trees.

Matt. I am about 6 hours south, and have a nephew about 45 minutes south, if you need help let me know,
