Lesson #1
US Postal service can ship most anything.
1. Preferred shipping is via Priority Mail for me. Fixed rate in US by
weight. You can figure postage by putting it on a kitchen scale or bathroom
scale. Not exact, but close.
2. Post office will supply the shipping boxes, envelopes, tape, mailing
labels and more. Many different sizes and shapes. You can order what you
need via the net. Orders are shipped to your house, FREE!!!!!!!
3. You can ship with the tracking for only 35 cents extra. Forms available
on the net.
4. Insurance optional but advisable over $50. Forms available on the net.
5. With the item in hand it is easy to pack one, weigh it, and then figure
the postage on the net. Then you know what to charge for shipping.
6. For our friends up North, there is Global Priority Mail. You need the
customs form and it is also available for order off the net. You can figure
mailing costs to Canada on the net also.
Need help on mailings, I will gladly assist if I can. I mail all over the
world, from Japan to Europe and have only had one lost item. German Customs
tried to figure it out for two months, but sent it back to me eventually.
