I've been using that same model pump since last summer. I believe the inner
diameter of all the Jabsco pumps are the same, 1.5 ". I used a rubber
reducer from Home Depot to enable 3" to 1.5" connection this also reduces
any vibrations to the gate valve. As I remember assorted other PVC items
were also used.I did keep the original hose by using a "Y" and additional
gate valve.
