Catching up on my reading this afternoon, and I saw a product announcement
in the February issue of Car and Driver for a new Pirelli tire.

It is made for SUVs, in various sizes from 15 to 18". The tire is also made
in a V speed rating, which is good to 149 mph.

Anyone know more about these?

Perhaps a fella' (or gal) enjoying the life of leisure living (a/k/a
retired) can call Kevin Gilhuly, the Pirelli market manager and find out
more.

Mark,

If you are referring to the new Scorpion A/T for light trucks and SUV's, I
note that it is available in a 16" load range E with "S" speed rating, but
the size, LT235-85R16, is a little big for our wheel wells. Also, the tread
is probably too aggressive for a maximum speed attempt.
