Hi All, Just finished lowering my steering column. And I love the lowered
position!!! All just fits just right now, And dash can be seen alot better.
Now to those that have done this, What did you use to cover(if any did) the
bigger gap between the top of the steering column and bottom of dash trim
piece? Thanks again for any info. Can't wait to go for another cruise IN my
Lady, but have to save $ for the unknown before I can go! :-)>

Ron & Gina,

Man, I was going to do that this weekend!! I have aa really neat new steer
wheel I'm trying out and I needed to drop the column for better visibility.

Did you simply shim the front mount and bend the floor plate, school me
master!!

Does anyone know if the steering column may be interchangable with a later
model van? That would open up some nice possibilities.

Ron & Gina,

You mean Mac & Shirley make a part to do that, you know those guys are
smart. Everyone should have their column lowered. I have never seen a
need to touch the windshield with the steering wheel!

What window thingies?
