I recently purchased a 78 Eleganza II and I now find myself undoing some of the major changes the previous owner made. The rear dinette was removed and a a permanent bed was installed. I'm looking to switch it back to a rear dinette. They also removed the stove and the hood vent that went above it. The hood seems pretty unique to these GMC's so I'd like to just get an original rather than modifying the cabinets. I'm also looking for a davo couch, we could use the bunkbed for the kids.

I'm in the Salem, OR area.

Hi Greg, and welcome!

Salem?! I work in Salem, and live to the east a ways. I've got 4 coaches currently, one of which is a parts coach. Unfortunately, I actually sold off two full sets of original furniture last year. I'll have to check my parts coach and see if there's still a hood vent. I've got another friend up in the Hillsboro area; IIRC he offered me a range last year but I didn't need one. I can check and see if he still has it. Let me know if you need any other odds and ends from the parts coach.

Check out my build thread if you want to see what I've been working on. I'm doing a ton of work to our "new" one, getting ready for a big summer of family camping, while keeping the "old" one usable too.

Hi Paul, well it sounds like we'll have to meet up sometime, we'd love to see what you have going on out there! I sent you a message with my contact info. There are a number of things I could use, but time is always getting in the way of getting to it all!

Hi Greg,
I got one of the sets of furniture from Paul last year, then got a second coach that was newer. I am going to sell the early coach but if the buyer doesn't want the newer seats I may part with them. I might want to keep the Dave out of the set as my daughter wants the bunk bed and new coach has barrel chairs.
