Read my web page on Toads, it shows there how to connect to the toad
wiring..... you will need diode modules, new lights, or clamp on lights.
You should not connect directly into the toad wiring.

>Toad wiring alternative. I have a 77 GMC, a 92 Suburban and a 91 S-10
5-speed

out

For us newer list members, what is your web page address? I am also
interested in toad wiring problems and solutions and would love to view your
information.

I'm not there yet, but my plans for my Cherokee(which has separate stop/turn
lamps) involve installing a second dual filament bulb socket behind the red
lens of each rear signal assembly. These will be wired to a four wire
connector at the front bumper. There will be no wiring connection to the
Cherokee's electrical system.

That's what I plan to do...
