When I did mine, and gene has some pictures of mine on his web site, I wanted a
second dump valve in the event that the macerator did not work. Thus, there is
a "y" valve with another dump connection that goes to the original one, and if I
remember right, (as my coach is sitting near gene's right now), i did glue the
pvc and the valve in. The other side ot the "y" I used rubber fittings in case
movement occured and in case I had to take it out. Hope that helps.
