I was give three Colonels when USAF started downswing. Unfortunately before it
was over. I had to go through at least one of them to get anything out, including
a simple communication, you know Colonel to Colonel. I had been the GSO on this
installation for over 30 years. Talk about having your hands tied. On one
message I got from the Wing CO. "Chuck this is entirely too late!" I printed in
neat bright RED LETTER "No S____". Please Talk To Your Colonels! And had it hand
delivered to the Wing. PS Never heard another word. Chuck
