Does any one have any good suggestions on a journal book for the GMC,
besides a 3 ring binder or a regular auto log? Perhaps a PC program for
logging maintenance and trip info gleaned along the way?

For you cigar fans I stopped at JR's on I95 to buy some cigars to give
away at the Golf Course Superintendents Show and the girl behind the
counter recommended some that were Arturo Fuente copies. At $63
including tax for 50 of them, the people that tried them said they were
great. I do not know cigars, but the guys that know said they were
going to switch from the $8 + $9 dollar ones to these. I was a hit at
he show and after in the bars. If you like cigars call 1-800-JR-Cigar
and get the catalog.

One of the other exhibitors also drove his GMC to the show and saw
mine. As he walked by my booth he put on his GMC International hat.
Can not recall his name right now, but he was from Kentucky. I
mentioned him in the thread on Topeka Paint.

I have developed both a maintenance/repair and travel log book's, 8 1/2" x
11" format, laminated covers, and punched and bound.

In the former, I have created the following sections: owners data, air
conditioning, brake system, cooling system, electrical system, engine and
drive train, exhaust system, fuel system, ignition system, lubrication, oil
changes and filter, safety systems and accessories, suspension system, tire,
transmission, tune-up, audio and video systems and accessories, living area
- - appliances, living area - electrical, living area - plumbing, living area
- - seating, miscellaneous, and onan generator.

Was thinking of bringing it to Myrtle Beach to sell/take orders.

Software available from Camping World, I believe, is Travel Pac. Although I
have it, I haven't used it yet.

Lanier:

They are log books. The user logs in all maintenance and repair work data
under the column headings contained across each page in the coach log book.
Same principal for the travel log book, except you log your travels.

I'm in the process of establishing a price and will have to announce it
later, hopefully by next Monday evening or before.

Working for a living has kept me from putting together the naintenance =
and
travel log books until now. Just finished assembling a sample copy of =
each
one tonight.

The maintenance log book comes with laminated covers, the front one =
being
customized (i. e. year and model of coach plus owners name) and =
containing a
GMC coach right side view watermark, side punched and bound, using a =
plastic
comb. It also contains a one page index listing of the records, a =
coach
data page, and 46 double sided record pages, consisting of 23 separate
categories. There is space for up to 35 enteries, which have six =
column
headings in a grid format, on each side of a page. Price for the
maintenance log book is $17.99 plus $3.00 shipping (first class).

The travel log book is the same as above except is has 11 double sided
record pages. There is space for up to 36 entries, which have six =
column
headings in a grid format, on each side of a page. Price for the =
travel log
is $8.99 plus $1.75 shipping (first class).

The sample copies will be available to look at during the GMCMI Myrtle =
Beach
Convention for ordering. If interested, look for a poster about them =
and my
coach location on the bulletin board. I also plan to have them =
available
for perusal during the Flea Market at Myrtle Beach.

As I'm planning to leave for Myrtle Beach at 8 AM this morning, I won't =
be
available to answer any e-mail questions about the log books until =
after I
return home on March 29th.

Thanks for your patience.
