I have located a pair of K heads and a pair of J heads.
Is there any advantage to using K heads over our J heads? I know the valves and runners are larger in the Ks but is that any real advantage with our
application? I want to maximize torque.
Thanks

Lots of upgrades but lots to do to make it ours.

No. K heads are high compression, large valve and runner heads. The valve
seats are not induction hardened. They will bolt on. Made for high rpms. No
torque below about 2500 rpms.
