Hi Fellow GMC'ers,

Bought a '77 Palm Beach over Xmas -the coach is sitting in winter storage in the Interior of BC and I'll be going up to bring it home to Vancouver Island as soon as the weather gets better.
She's in good shape, 39,000 miles only but the tires are old/no good - just picked up 7 new Kumho Crugen 225/75 R16 shoes for her and I'll be fitting these for the trip down, probably in late March.

I haven't seen the coach in the flesh, but from the photos it looks like there's been several upgrades - headliner, fan, fridge and upholstery/seats on the interior and a vinyl wrap and wing mirrors on the outside. As far as the systems/running gear go, she has 16" wheels and the original air spring system but the bags are replacements and are in good shape. I'm not sure, but someone suggested the propane tank looks like a replacement.

Yes indeed! I think stealth camping might be off the table looking like this though!

I would guess you don't know this. Stealth camping is much more an issue of making it look like you are just stopped there for some legitimate purpose. It could look like the Weinner Mobile, but as long as it does not look like it is there to "camp", few people will care. (Says the guy with the bright Ice Blue Glacier.)

When you extend the slides, unroll the awning , put out the chairs and fire up the grill, then this is no longer a possibility. I don't worry, we don't have slides, an awning, or a grill and the folding chairs are not as comfortable as being in the coach.
