This is an open letter to Roger Black and anyone else out there on "the
Search".

How are you doing on " the search" ?? I remember when we started
looking we still had to sell the sailboat and that is as bad as selling a
house. Took almost 6 months. Hard to wait. And when we did find our GMC, the
left airbag exploded while we were inside. Scared the S---! out of everyone
else, but I knew she wanted me and was trying to appeal to my project side
(Besides it knocked three grand off the price). After borrowing an air bag
and limping home She has been every thing I wanted. Just enough wrong that
she keeps me out of the tavern, but has never failed to take me where ever I
want to go, including a trip to AZ. Just ugly enough that I'm not afraid to
take Her on the back roads, but pretty enough to stand out in any camp
ground. And the gas mileage is close enough to the big car that, likely as
not, we take the GMC to the mother-in-laws for the weekend. We are looking
forward to many long and happy hours with Her, whether it is out in the
shop tinkering with this or that, or out on the by-ways enjoying the view.
And I assure you that I will not fix everything so that I will break down
somewhere and get an opportunity to use the "Black List" and meet some new
friends.
