Two weeks ago today I ordered the OTC 7503 ball joint puller tool after
being assured by Fred Kleppers that it "was in stock" and would be
"shipped today" (via UPS). A week ago tomorrow I called Fred and told
him the tool had not arrived which it should have given the relatively
short distance from northern Ohio to southeast Tennessee. Fred said
that there had been some problems at OTC but he would call them to check
on the order. (Wonder why he told me before the tool was "in stock"?)
I told Fred that if the tool wasn't available that the order should be
canceled and that I would have to do something else since my plans to
remove the knuckles and service the bearings were "on hold" while I
waited for the tool. Fred called back later that day and said that he
had spoken with the OTC factory in MN and that the tool was to be"
dropped shipped" to me "today". You guessed it, the tool is still not
here. I plan to call Fred again in the morning and I'll let the Net
know what he says, but if any of you guys are ordering from JSCORP, I
hope your experience has been (or will be) better. Your experience may
vary. BTW, Scott Nehoda shipped me the OTC 927 puller for this job
without any delays . It got here in 2 days! Now that's service.
