I can attest to the warranty on the Jacobs. I have an Old Jacobs, so old that
Moses let me use it when he was through with the ark. I called Jacobs and they
told me to send it in. I did and "behold" they found they could not repair it,
but for a modest charge, they could replace it with a current version. I said,
fine with me, so they sent me a big box with all the parts needed. They forgot
the cap to the HEI so I will have to wait to receive that before I install the
unit. With a warranty like that, who can go wrong.
By the way, Nelson, how much did you have to cut out of the hatch cover to get
the cap to work, since I will have to do the same. I do not know what other
components ie spark plugs, spark plug wires, etc need to be changed, nor any adj
to the gap. Any suggestions to the changes will be very helpful
