Friend brought round a new Sure Power 24023A isolator and said I could have it if I could use it. Not sure if I need such a thing? - it's a lot
heftier that my present isolator but a lot larger as well.

Any benefit to replacing the OEM style unit with something like this? Specs are 6-50 volts and alternator max 240 amps.

If it is free then get it and keep it. It could replace one if ever needed. There is no reason to change out a good working one right now.

Ok Ken, understood. It's pretty large compared to what's in the coach ATM ...this one is about a foot long and fairly heavy too.
