Linda, and I loved our first 78 Royale that we owned for 13 years. Then the=
fire from a fire recall we never saw. Suddenly it felt like we had just l=
ost a close family member. 3 weeks after the fire. We went to a GMCMI rally=
in South Dakota without a GMC. The warmth, and support from the GMC commit=
tee was unbelievable. Then the reality that our GMC was gone. I became a m=
an on a mission. In Nov, I told Linda to make out a list of absolutely EVER=
YTHING that she had ever dreamt of having in a GMC. That Nov I bought anot=
her 78 Royale. By the fallowing June. That GMC went to a GMCMI rally in Bra=
nson Mo. After totally rebuilding about every part. Our perspective change=
d on how we looked at this second 78 Royale. I'm 71. How much sand is in m=
y hour glass anymore. ( I did put courser sand in it recently ) So how muc=
h time do we have to enjoy each other in what I call our GMC magic carpet. =
Put a huge amount of labor in it. And about $41,000 in parts. Linda declar=
ed it perfect at the Ohio GMCMI rally. As to the labor, and parts cost. N=
ow the cost of travel. I DO NOT CARE. As how much time do we have with eac=
h other anymore. Just something for all to think about. Bob Dunahugh 78 G=

Bob,
Your hour glass is lot fuller than mine. At least you get things done.
