Hi!
Yesterday, I installed the HEI distributor in place of the old point
style. It went in without any problem. however, there is a problem in the
fact that it will not start. I put in a new module, cap, rotor, coil, and
the silly thing still won't work.I checked for 12 volt at the plug where it
hooks to the cap, and that is good. In fact, seems like the coil gets warm
to the touch, which I never noticed before.I did run a new wire to the
distributor from the fuse block. I am totally stumped...
