:( Well, the extra intake is no good. Besides the usual crossover cracks, there is a crack in the intake where the thermostat goes.
Pulled the intake on the engine and it is cracked through the secondary web into the valley.
Pulled the heads and no blown head gaskets but the exh seats are all shot with #8 exh valve cracked.
Took the heads in to have them checked and both heads are cracked at exh. ports.
Decided to cleanup the block and found a crack between #4 cyl and the lower water-jacket.

So... now I am going to sit back, crack open a couple (or more) cold ones and contemplate my navel. :d

Jerry, the block can be repaired with a sleeve if worst comes to worst and
a suitable replacement block cannot be located. If the heads are cracked
where the exhaust manifolds mate with the manifolds, that can be repaired
with tapered plugs and surfacing. If they are cracked in the combustion
chambers near the valve seats, they are probably scrap metal at this point.
J and G Heads are still fairly easy to find as they are low compression
"smogger" heads and the 4-4-2 guys are looking for K hi-pro big valve
heads. The J and G heads are better for our application, anyway.
But, darn, I hate to hear news like yours. One more engine headed for
the recycling industry.

Jim, thanks for the info. I'm looking at all my options right now. I also found the coach has a 77 Eldorado trans.
The heads are also cracked between the valves. I quit inspecting the block when I saw the first crack. It is almost like it was super overheated.
However, I didn't see any heating problems in the less than 2000 miles we got to use it. I'm just depressed at what I found as it was running so
smoothly with no loss of fluids other than minor oil leaks.

I'll figure out what to do.
