Hi, I am not selling insurance and really do not know a lot about it. I had my
wife dig up our policy and I reviewed it and thought it worth passing on to you
all. We are insured with National General through Good Sam. My 1978 GMC is
$102.00, 1990 F150 is 130.00, 90 Mark VII is 158.00, 94 Aspire is 147.00. This
is for six months. So for one year it would be twice the total, which seems
reasonable to me considering we have all of the vehciles insured compared to
less than the cost quoted by Farmers for 1208.00. The RV Alliance is pretty
good for the 376.00 if that is for the year, but my GMC is still only 204.00.
There is a $250.00 deductible for Collision and $100.00 deductible for anything
other than collision. We have been very happy with them. Chuck

Just got my first renewal notice on the GMC from Farmers Insurance, annual
premium $1,208.20. When I bought the coach my agent told me he had trouble
getting the underwriter to sign off on it, they "don't like insuring
GMC's".

Called RV Alliance America: at least $5,000 increase in agreed coach
value, lower (disappearing) deductable, roadside service policy included,
they have a picture of a GMC on their brochure; annual premium $376.00.
Hummm, I think I'm gonna switch.

Question: anyone have any experience with RVAA's roadside service people,
Royal First. I have Coach Net currently through FMCA, don't want to drop
them if it's a superior service. My fear is towing - coach trailered
properly to where I want to go.

Thanks in advance,

Keith

Sounds like you are on the right track. RVAA is hard to beat for coach
insurance but I prefer being towed (if ever needed) [g], by pros. I can't
imagine hat RVAA will agree to putting my coach on an 18 wheel rollback
like Good Sam towing did about 5 years ago.
