We have a set of outside sun screens for our 1974 Eleganza SE. We ordered a
complete set for all windows from Guske Sales.

Can someone advise me of the correct sized pop rivet, max drill depth, and
any HAZARDS to watch out for?

Help appreciated. The wife is really wanting me to get on this in a hurry -
don't know why?

Tom,

I just installed the snaps for the Guske front outside sun screen last
weekend. I used 1/8" rivets, but had to use a spacer between the rivet and
the installation tool to make sure the rivet bottoms out inside the snap
(sounds confusing, just look at it and you'll see what I mean). The holes
only have to be about 1/2" deep, so mine went only through the outer skin. I
applied sealer to the bottom of the snap bases before installing them.

Good luck,
