You are so right TOM. Guess you did not read my previous post. I had a
company at one time replace each and every one of the studs and Chrome
Lug Nuts just for the fact they used "AIR" on them. I never, ever
allow"AIR" and that is "ALWAYS " I have it written on top of the W.O "NO
AIR" As far as normal torque you will/can have some loosen up and you
should re-check them after removing the wheel. This does not mean every
time you stop. It just says in the GMC book to do so after you have
changed a tire. PS I have never had a flat. By the way I rotate tires
about 10K they last for a long time. Of course mine get used and do
not sit in the drive way like I have seen SOB. PS. It is even written
in the GMC book section about wheels and tires. Chuck in Lompoc.
