I know where I can lay my hands on some, too. I might take a thin sheet
iron plate and drill the GMC bolt pattern in it. Then take and cut the
heads off the bolts and weld them to the sheet iron through the holes. I
can hang the thing on the spare tire rack studs and just bolt it between
the wheel and rack.
I'll let you know how it turns out.
