Netters:
In regard to info being lost on ICQ chats, you *can* save entire chat
sessions as long as the last participant hasn't logged off. Another
alternative is to copy and paste relevant info out of the chat window into
your favorite word processor and then post on the list so the info can be
archived.
I used to use the copy & paste method a lot on the VW chats to relay info
between online and offline members.
ICQ is not a replacement for this list - it is a great channel for group
"conversing" online in real time. I subscribe to the digest version of the
GMCnet list, so I don't receive list postings as they occur. I apologize
if this subject has already been covered.
