Gary,

Any problem matching the outside curve of the coach with the HydroFlame
furnace?

Patrick--
The Hydro-flame model I used (from Whitney) is about 16" wide x 14"deep x
10" high. It may be installed either horizontally or vertically. The
horizontal mounting allows the furnace to be placed in the same (actually
less) space as the OEM and also allows the furnace to be sloped slightly
downward toward the coach exterior. When sloped like this the exterior
panel which comes with the unit fits so close to the slight curvature of the
coach that only about 1/8" caulk filler is needed at the widest "gap". The
cut-out (easy with a saber saw) removes the old furnace ports. If pictures
are wanted say so and I'll send some for posting to all. HTH

Gary,
I'd love to see the pictures. How about the other stuff Tom mentioned like
electrical hookup, using the current thermostat and gas connections? Did
you have someone do the sheet metal adapters and did you tie into the old
ducts?
I'll be going through this soon and I can sure use any insight you have.
Tom's experience with the Suburban brings flashbacks to other projects that
I'd like to avoid.
