The Hydro-Boost system had a spring accumulator built into the brake booster
which gave reserve power for one or possibly two stops if the engine failed.
The electrically powered reserve vacuum pump as has been mentioned would be
far better in a hair-raising situation as was described a couple of days
ago. No provisions for emergency power with the hydroboost system.
