How Old Are you {as a GMC Owner}?

I had a 32' class a for about a year - fixed all the issues from hydraulic leaks to bad ABS wheel sensors then grew tired of it because I didn't like to faded/pealing exterior. My friend introduced me to the GMC's (he had previously had one). We stopped by a local GMC rally so I could get a better look. That's when the venom of the sting really set in...
I bought mine in May of 2021 and had it shipped from Arkansas to Minnesota - arrived on my 57th Birthday
did a full gut - refreshed the interior, serviced the mechanicals and 3 years later - she is officially ready for the road.

Recently turned 70. Bought my 73 five years ago and added a 76 three years ago. Currently the 73 is gutted and waiting on a total interior redo (bad mouse destruction) and I'm replacing the brakes and brake lines on the 76.
For the record, an emptied out GMC MH goes like a scalded cat and stops just as good. Maybe I'll keep it that way.

I do have the impression that the 3/4" thick particle board furniture is really weighing the coach down!

I was recently enlightened a bit on the construction of the bathroom door though. I saw particle board under the formica at the edges, but as it turns out, the particle board is only at the edges. Someone posted pictures of tearing the formica off and replacing it. It was mostly the honeycomb cardboard on the inside. IIRC there may have been some metal rails bracing certain parts. I forget.

Now I'm wondering if it's just the bathroom door, or perhaps the closet door too? Cabinet doors?

The one positive thing about particle board is that if it gets wet, you end up with twice as much.
