Had the front wheels off our 78 Royale. To put 80MM calipers on. Those original knuckles have about 22,000 miles on them in the last 2 and a half years. Way short of needing service. But I'm big on over doing service. Getting tools out. 7 mins. 21 mins to pull chrome cap, cotter pin, loosen axle nut, grease knuckle, clean excess grease off, tighten/torque axle nut, install cotter pin, and install chrome cap. The other side took 19 mins. Put tools away. 4 mins. Total time. 51 mins. So since 22,000 miles. And 2 plus years. Time to get ready for Tallahassee next March. Change brake, power steering, trans fluids, and FD lube. Looking forward to March. Bob Dunahugh

I think it takes me a little longer. ;)

Bob D.:
I love you attention to detail - we all could learn a thing or 3 from you. Wish I could just come and watch you work sometime. I know it would advance the life of my GMC/s!!!
