You know we have been following this thread about the
recirculating toilet for a little while. We are full-timers, and live with
one. In fact last year we replace the original one. Why did we
stick with it? First, we have learned through the 4 years how to
clean it properly. We soak ours for 30 minutes to an hour in a Pine
Sol solution every time we dump it. We rinse throughly before we
soak. We have also worked at finding the right chemicals to keep
odors down. We use EviroChem. Double treatments. (There is a
powder on the market it is sold mail order in Tubs
