Tom's post on holding tank hardware has me wondering if anyone has a source
for a holding tank. Mine has been patched beyond hope, an I fear that it
will need to be replaced this year.

Any thoughts from anyone?

I bought ARDEMCO's holding tank for $225 IIRC. It was an exact
replacement, including the fitting for the sensor

They advertice in GMCMM.

ARDEMCO's current price is $278 for holding tank. I believe it is
polyehtlyne not ABS. I just had mine replaced by an RV shop that was
not very familiar with GMCs. They charged a total of $800 using the
ARDEMCO. They claimed it was a lot of work. Been nice to get a real
GMC shop to do it but none around here.

Good luck,

Try Dale at Sunshine General Store in Castell, TX. His phone number is 915
247-3616. He is very good but he is not cheap. I don't think he is as
expensive as the shop you used. Give him a try. I think you will like him.

It is a lot of work Bill should take all of 2 hours to replace. Been there
done that. Go get some money back.

At $50 dollars an hour, that 16 hours labor to R&R the tank. Shouldn't
take more that 5 or 6 hours.
