Before you dwell on that for too long, consider the fact that of the 8000+ out on the road today, all but a few are still running with the 3.07 and a open differential.

The lunch bunch you should hook up with is the second Tuesday of each month in the off season. It was at the Ruby Tuesday in Angola but they were closed for the plague and the met somewhere down the road a couple of times. That is all I was able to find out fast.
We had one going here in SE-MI but it has kind of died with the plague too. It was my list and I just can't get fired up again.

One person's Must-Have is another persons ho-hum.
I bought a 3.70 without the LS from JimK a few years ago and have been very happy with it. I am careful and cautious in any slick or steep situation but I just climbed Lake Street in Duluth, MN (25% grade) and had no problems of any kind. The question of where to take a 10-12K pound vehicle is seldom without options.

Now that's a thought and helps put things in perspective, thank you! I would like the 3.70 and will think about the LSD. Did we highjack somebody else's thread? Sorry
