HEI Distributor

I just finished installing an Olds HEI into my 73 Glacier. I did this
since the vacuum advance was frozen on the stock distributor and I had
failed emissions at the cruise speed test here in Seattle. The coach
passed the test with the HEI but I now have 2 problems with the
installation. First, the air cleaner no longer fits correctly even after
taking a hammer to it the cleaner cover sits directly on the edge of the
HEI. I would like to replace the cleaner with a newer or similar
(toronado?). The second problem I now have is the advance curve is not
set right and I need to purchase new weights and springs to correct the
problem. Is there a good source for these?

dick paterson. His site is on the internet. I saw his distributers at
Kingston Ontario Canada rally in May and he knows what he is doing. He will
even repair it, install the correct weights etc and recurve it on his
machine. He is a GMCer.
