On my shakedown cruise last week I was both surprised and happy to see just how efficient the heat exchanger is and even more surprised as to how well
insulated the tank must be!
I parked up around 5 pm and at midnight the hot water was still so hot that I had to add cold just to wash my hands. At 9am the following morning the
water was still too hot for a shower without mixing it with cold. This was 16 hours after the engine stopped running and without any other power
source. (electric switch off the whole time and no propane)
Impressive!
