GMC Netters,
Every once in a while you have the opportunity to come across a craftsman
who is so meticulous and thorough in his workmanship you just have to tell
somebody.
Sometime ago we had replaced carpets, curtains and reupholstered the
furniture. For the past couple of years we had been wanting to have the
headliner replaced and had almost resigned ourselves to fact we would have
to do it ourselves (God forbid). Then we heard about Chuck Bachman, right
here in our hometown of Broken Arrow, OK. (Broken Arrow is a suburb of Tulsa).
Chuck is a one-man operation, without enough room to hardly turn around in.
But a superb craftsman he is! We took our coach to him and following his
suggestions this is what he did.
In addition to redoing the headliner with automotive type covering, he
extended the liner front and rear to cover the front and rear plastic caps
down to the edge of the front windshield and rear window. He also brought
the sides down to where the liner now meets the upholstered sides.
In addition, he recovered the sunshades and front speakers to match. Then
he painted all trim and panels to match though the coach, across the top
and all windows as well as the door.
Results are unbelievable, much more than we ever anticipated and those who
visited us at the Lake Whitney Rally will attest to his workmanship. NOW my
wife says " The old dash has got to go!"
He takes his time, (he had the coach two and half weeks) but you won't be
disappointed.
Chuck specializes in sunroofs, window tinting, headliners and vinyl tops.
