We are only two. Me and my 5' wife (just perfect height for balancing
the overhead cabinets on her head for remounting. I have yet to
live that one down.
Experience with headliners - zero. However, we are pretty handy
and have remodeled several houses. So we look at the interior
of our GMC as a real tiny house!
The long weekend was a labor-day 3 day weekend. During those 3 days
we picked out all materials, made all trips to Home Depot and completed
the project. We worked a total of about 22 hours each (44 total). Could now
do it in about 32 total as you always see how you should have done it.
We will soon be doing the same to our new stretch. Will be easier as it
is already stripped inside.

Nice post but I have to ask how many are included in the word "we" and how
