I'm separating this out into its own topic since it's not related to the GMC molds...

I recently installed HELLA 002395301 Conversion Headlights in our coach.
The advantage is they take a standard HB2 bulb (included), which gives you a much wider selection (HB2/9003/HB4).
They're also a heck of a lot brighter.
https://www.amazon.com/HELLA-002395301-Halogen-Conversion-Headlamp/dp/B0002M9QK6

I was going to also replace the wiring harness with one that includes new relays, as others have done, but found I didn't need to. I did have to trim
the plastic shroud from the OEM headlight plug to get them to fit, and of course cleaned up the old connectors.
Going forward, it's much easier to replace a burned out bulb than a whole sealed beam headlight.

There are lots of other "Conversion" headlight kits available, but I got these because they're street legal, not crazy expensive, a known brand, and
about the same power draw as stock.

As someone else pointed out, our headlights are 7" (about 178mm), but that amazon link from my order says 165mm... Not sure why.
The actual order invoice from Amazon says:
HELLA 002395301 Vision Plus 176mm High/Low Beam 12V Halogen Conversion Headlamp (HB2)

Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks Karen

This looks to be a simple method to upgrade headlights. Appreciate the info

That's the kit I ordered. Will try to remember to report back fit and ease of installation.

The hardest part for me was getting the old rusty screws out and cutting the plastic shroud off the stock connectors. I found it easier to remove
the pins from the connectors and cut the plastic on the bench. If I recall, there are two sets of screws on the headlights -- one holds the
headlight in, the other sets the angles. If you leave the adjustment screws alone, you shouldn't have to mess with alignment (assuming they're
correct to begin with).

Mac,

Go to Ebay

Type in: 5” x 7" rectangular LED headlights

There are a large number of headlights listed and most are DOT approved.

Do the same for Amazon.

The choice is yours.

The customer reviews on these was luke warm at best! Really low light levels and way too expensive. I found a set of Osrams at $95 for the pair that were very highly rated by almost 90 customer reviews. 8000 lumen on high beam and 56oo lumen on low beam. Very sharp vertical cutoff to greatly reduce glare to oncoming drivers.

Bought on Amazon with Prime Membership. Will have them by 13 Sep.

Mac,
I was looking in Amazon for the items and have not been able to source them. Lots of Osram replacement lamps and a limited number of complete assemblies. What was the model number or do you have a shortcut.

Terry Kelpien's message later today (at 9:03) has the correct reference. If not, I'll post the actual Osram part number after I receive my shipment later today.

Love the look of the rectangles! Where would one find replacement surrounds
that allow for rectangular lights? Applied?
