I just talked to Bruce in tech services at Hayden in Corona CA,
800-621-3233. Told him our application and that various people were using
their #: 2707, 2747, or 2797 clutches.
Asked him what the engagement temperature is for those. He said either an
air temperature of 170 -180 deg F behind the radiator or an engine coolant
temperature of 190 - 200 deg F.
Also asked him about proper orientation of the clutch during shipping,
storage, etc. He said shaft up is the proper way and if stored shaft down
the units are subject to leaking fluid around the bearing.
