I guess this isn't the right bandwagon to jump on! So, what have I
learned? I think I've learned that I can rebuild that 425, over load it
with trans fluid, wrap and seal in heavy plastic, vacuum seal the
thing, and crate it up, ready for shipping at some future time. I will
then place the crate in the corner of my motorhome bedroom
(barn), and write myself a cheque for $200 . By not buying the
$3000 drive train I'll save myself another couple of thousand, and
this makes the cost of the rebuild and storage not only free, but I've
made money.
If you think this is confused, wait 'til tonight when I get at those
"GMC" drinks I posted yesterday !
