Many of us have participated in group buys, both here and other places.
I for one, have been very pleased, every time I have been in one, here on
the GMCnet.

I've done and seen some buys where I'm sure the person coordinating it
must have said, "Ok that was my contribution, but no more for a while."
We've had many models utilized here. Everything from practically setting
up a mini-company like Tom's deal... (complete with setting up a
purchasing department to buy raw materials, accounting, R&D, Engineering,
Production, Packaging, and Shipping). Another approach was "call so and
so, and ask for the GMCnet price with your cedit card."

Is there any interest in coming up with a model or several models for a
'group buy' that might eliminate some of the hassel factor for the person
coordinating the buy, and maybe provide a small % of the buy as a kitty
for various GMCnet necessities as we grow and do more of these and 'de
facto grow' because of these buys?

If you would like it 'wild and wooly, no strings, no kitty, no model,
tell us that too'. One of the wildest, was... "who wants 'em, I'll send
'em to you, send me some money when you get 'em."

The kitty I'm talking about would be a small amount added on to each
participants share and sent to Patrick, from time to time for GMCnet
expenses as them come up. I haven't checked with anyone on this... it's
just an idea that that I wanted to suggest. Take some of it, none of it
or all of it....

I have been noticing many new folks joining in (welcome all), and I know
each of us add to the administrative load in some way.
